IMBA joins presentation of Former Italian Prime Minister Professor Enrico Letta on the “Italy-ASEAN Association” at UniKL on October 21st 2016

On October 21st 2016 a delegation of IMBA Members joined a presentation of Former Italian Prime Minister Professor Enrico Letta on the “Italy-ASEAN Association” of which he is President.
The presentation - held at Universiti Kuala Lumpur – was jointly organized by the Embassy of Italy and the university, and hosted by UniKL President Prof. Dato' Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su'ud and H.E. Mario Sammartino, Ambassador of Italy to Malaysia. Guest of honour Datuk Jayasiri - Secretary General of the Ministry of International Trade & Industry (MITI) - offered a snapshot on the theme “Malaysia as a Gateway to ASEAN”. ​The presentation was followed by a preliminary informal discussion between Prof. Letta and IMBA Committee Members to explore strategic partnership opportunities between IMBA and the Italy ASEAN Association.
